Had the chance to try this out on the weekend and succeeded in 1 of 2 attempts, so, in an attempt to ensure we whoop ass next time I'm promoting a post on Reddit which leads to a website http://bounty.caer.me/ which in turn makes reference to Dulfy's Mission Guide.
Between the 3 resources we should be corralling those pesky varments in no time :-)
Oh, and hugs to JOI & DH in WvW - you guys keep on trucking !

Changes to WvW Patch Update
Hola, pleased to see that the devs are paying attention to WvW via the introduction of some changes designed to introduce new abilities, you can read all about it here on guild wars 2.com
The new world xp (wxp) required to obtain these new abilities is earnt by killing players, but there's a catch, players that have recently been killed yield NIL wxp experience while those players that have not been killed for 'some' time do, presumably players that have recently arrived & thus not been killed will fall into the second category.
The point my cracked brain thought of immediately is the section which states that recently killed players give NIL wxp, I am left wondering if the next time players find themselves going up against a zerg if they will be more selective on which toons they target?
I mean currently I am targeting anyone who keyboard turns, is is using weapons I feel are inappropriate for their toon etc and I assume most other players have their own system or list of priorities but what if the majority of players shift to targeting Guardians or thieves because they typically are harder to kill off - assuming they are played competently.
Will this patch change bring about the active targeting of certain professions? Will this prompt players whom play those targeted professions to change their setup to become tankier & harder to kill or just log to another toon to play WvW in which case we will see more support builds running around?
Add to that the fact you can earn new titles to complement the new abilities so that enemies will see your title and know that you are a specialist in seige or killing guards or npcs etc and that may cause a big red bulls eye to appear on your head much like a commanders icon makes you instantly visible on the battlefield.
Here's how the new interface will look:
And what a pleasure it is to stomp ET & FC AGAIN yes I know we're at the bottom of the world ranking but seriously facing off against the same servers week after week ... the rankings need reviewing even if we get stomped in a higher bracket at least for a week or 2 manually change servers around already!
In other news, not that I've played since the Patch but Culling should be over which means that sneaky mesmer porting their zerg should be far less effective now you can see the enemy immediately instead of that 2 second lag ...
If your PC isn't the newest latest & greatest remember to check your graphics settings to tweak things to retain those important fps.

World Boss Events version 2 !
Yes tis true I am submitting a post raaawr *cough* after a long hiatus where the game became a bore but now I am tentatively dipping a big toe into the waters of GW2 again and it seems some things have changed yippee (and alot hasn't /sigh).
Some of what's changed and is good is that World Events are more lucrative than before the last patch, not sure what World Events are then look at my earlier post called GW2 World Boss Events for some hints.
I was going to write a little about it however one of the blogs I followed previously makes a good case for explaining what's what so I'll give props to Hunters Insight & let them tell you all about it.
" Completing a world boss now means you're guaranteed at least one rare and as many as 3. This is an improvement over dungeon chests, personal story rewards, or just about any other loot in the game.

Using sites like Guild Wars Temple ( you can jump straight to the timers here ) and also the GW2 Stuff website ( more timers here ) with its very useful dragon timers,
guests have the ability to show up to dragons in advance of their spawn, dodgy
or not you can decide. I can't really see the difference between this and leaving characters sitting on top of chests at jumping puzzles or farms where you can log on loot & log off to play your main but then I've not put alot of thought into it?!
The Shadow Behemoth (finally
available) lasts at most two stages before being killed. He barely uses some of
his special skills & his adds die in moments, his big red circles barely
hit anyone.
The Maw also takes only
moments to kill with one of the events to kill a totem which does not take long
or have any kind of return attack, or maybe it does and is killed too quickly
and other events take mere moments and you have to struggle to tag each event.
The final boss also dies in moments, despite the cool as hell ice tornado.
The Shatterer works great if
you're on the right side of him if you're on the left he does not attack you or
significantly damage you in any way and again dies very quickly.
Tequatl & Jormag probably
work best out of all the dragons & requires at least two rounds to get him
to move to the secondary location.
Of course all of this has had a major impact on the
economy with the price of ectos going from about 38s before the patch to about
24s. "
